DEFENDER GALLERY OFFICIALLY OPENED IN PONDOK INDAH MALL 1, JAKARTA
PT JLM Auto Indonesia, the authorised importer and distributor of Defender vehicles in Indonesia operating under the auspices of Inchcape Indonesia, has opened its Defender Gallery located at Pondok Indah Mall 1, Ground Floor. Until August 2024, this gallery will be the "home" for kits newest vehicle model, the Defender 130 Outbound.

THE LAST OVERLAND: REMAKING HISTORY THROUGH A 10,000 MILE ROAD EXPEDITION FROM SINGAPORE TO LONDON
Between 1955 and 1956, a team of six young men embarked on The Oxford & Cambridge Far Eastern Expedition (The First Overland), and made history by being the first to successfully drive the 10,000 miles from London to Singapore. Now, 64 years later, a member from that first expedition, Tim Slessor (age 87) joined by award-winning film-maker, Alex Bescoby (age 31), will take the original 1955 ‘Oxford Land Rover Series I on a road journey to retrace that first overland expedition.
NEW DEFENDER REACHES 1.2 MILLION KILOMETRE TEST AND DEVELOPMENT MILESTONE
A Defender prototype wearing a unique camouflage will experience life at the Borana Conservancy as part of Land Rover’s 15-year partnership with Tusk Trust.
The prototype will tow heavy loads, wade through rivers and carry supplies across unforgiving terrain in a series of real-world trials at the 14,000-hectare reserve.

Possessing a truly restless spirit, Wilks’ goal was to build something that could tackle any terrain, weather condition or challenge. That is exactly what he did.

IMPROVED REFINEMENT, LUXURY AND CAPABILITY FOR RANGE ROVER
A significant introduction to the 2017 Range Rover is the addition of the new InControl Touch Pro infotainment system, extensively developed with a range of new features. Commute mode automatically learns frequently used routes, and recommends the best route dependent on live traffic data. The door-to-door routing function system allows customers to set a destination on the Land Rover-dedicated Route Planner app that will then navigate you to the vehicle, before transferring further directions to the in-vehicle system.
INTERNATIONAL FLEET WORLD TAKE THE EVOQUE FOR A TEST DRIVE
After taking a closer inspection of its Ingenium diesel engine, International Fleet World’s John Kendall discovered just how beneficial the Evoque can be as a business vehicle. “From a fleet perspective, the most notable is the Ingenium 2.0-litre diesel engine, which reduces both fuel consumption and CO2 emissions compared with the outgoing 2.2-litre diesel.”
